So, according to the Oricon Rankings, seen HERE, the single 「今夜はブギー･バック」 by ‘TOKYO No.1 SOUL SET + HALCALI’ has done quite well!
Highest Position: 4
Weekly Ranking: 6
Month Ranking (thus far): 19
This is HALCALI’s highest position & weekly ranking for a single in their career- correct me if I’m wrong.
But it is definitely the best exposure they’ve had since BACON days. Shall we compare this ranking to that of the highest ranking of 「Re:やさしい気持ち」? The highest ranking was only 63.
Let’s all cross our fingers and hope & pray the Epic sends them in the right direction with lots of promotion for their next single, which will HOPEFULLY spring out of nowhere in the next month or so.

Yeah this is definitely the best they have done on Oricon since 2003. I wanna say they made it up to 6 or 4 with HALCALI BACON, but I can’t remember the exact number. This is absolutely fantastic for them.

a lot of exposure and good sales are all fine and i’m happy about it, it’s not like i wouldn’t grant them their success…but when the music is shit (like it is with konya wa boogie back) i can pretty much do without that.
