Today is the launch of our new album, TOKYO GROOVE.
I’m really happy with all of the comments from people that have already heard it! Thank you!
The songs that we’ve been making for about 3 years have become HALCALI’s, and after working in the studio countless times…
Anyway, this album took a lot of time to make. Well, like, we used our time freely to made this album.
And so what I’m really trying to say is I really appreciate the luxury of having this kind of environment to be able to enjoy making this album.
It’s been great.

And so anyway, The CD cover is really cute~. I’m so happy with it.
Maybe we’ll stop by the CD shop in between our radio appearance today~

Shibuya HMV looks like this now!
Look how big the HALCALI section is!

But… How the hell did they make this?
Thanks so much everyone for going out of your way to make this!

And behind the register, there is a huge thing that stands out like WOAH! (2nd photo ↑)

So we signed it kinda like graffiti. Oh, I’m so happy~

I hope that everyone will be happy with TOKYO GROOVE.

    Thanks for the translations!

I’m glad to see they got a display. I remember when Cyborg came out and I went to as many major CD stores as I could find in Shibuya, Shinkjuku and Ueno and only Shibuya HMV had a vid display. The rest didn’t even have posters. Maybe they really did get more promotion on this album.

If they did… i mean look at the increased sales. Way above Cyborg already. Come ON. Sony look at this. A few posters, nice displays, and appearances in stores and they make top 20? WAS THAT SO HARD????

Wow! Thank you so much for the translation. I love Halcali and have bought up most of their back catalogue. And I’d only just written up and article about them for a blog I write for(shameless plug below) and then I came across your site and discovered that they have a new album. I’m so happy!

Thanks again for the translation. I can’t wait to get a copy of Tokyo Groove.
