Today was the official release date for “ENDLESS NIGHT” in Japan. Yay indeed!
Yeah. You read that right. Twitter has become a growing phenomenon worldwide and a lot of people in the J-Urban and J-mix scene have been jumping on the bandwagon. The newest members we care about? Why it’s none other than HALCALI’s YUCALI and their DJ DJKiMJUN!
They signed up over the weekend I believe and I’ve been sitting on the news just in case it panned out to not be them, but I’m pretty much 100% sure it is at this point. DJKiMJUN remembered me from when they came to the US and YUCALI just posted a picture!

My Japanese is sooo weak, but I believe it is something along the lines of “Recording is done! A toast to this would be ‘chanpai’.”
It’s like a cute japanese way of saying Champagne I think. YUCALI has a tendency to use Japanese computer speak, which is a totally different language to me. *sigh*

So I was checking out CDJapan to order something and I put in HALCALI in the search bar, as I always do that when I am on an import site, and low and behold: A new single appeared for preorder!
I check it out on Japanese sites and it looks like the mysterious TOKYO No. 1 SOUL SET + HALCALI single that was supposed to come out next week has in fact been un-canceled and pushed back to March 24th. No information or title is up for it yet, but this is good news indeed. I have my fingers crossed that the rumor that it is an m-flo or Dragon Ash cover is true!

I didn’t think we would be seeing it this soon! Honestly I was starting to lose all faith in Sony putting out before release date at all. But here it is. DEFINITELY give it a watch. This PV has washed away all doubts I had about this song. It’s adult, it’s mellow.
And it is HALCALI. In every possible way.
